Fees

Fee transparency charter

While respecting the freedom to set fees, and committed to providing clear information in advance, our firm undertakes, beyond its legal obligations, to ensure complete and honest transparency on the cost of its services by observing the following rules:

  1. Provide prior information on the amount of retainers and fees (fixed fee) or on how they will be determined (time spent), or propose a fee agreement which may include a success fee.
  2. Set out in writing a proposal for fees, costs and disbursements, to be signed or approved by the client.
  3. Inform the client of any event likely to change the amount initially estimated as the case develops.
  4. Provide, on request, a detailed statement of the work carried out.
  5. Where fees are based on time spent, invoice as the work progresses and keep the client regularly informed.
  6. At the end of the engagement or when the file is closed, give the client a detailed account of the work done and of all sums invoiced.

We also offer adapted fees for local counsel work (postulation) before the Le Havre courts and the Rouen Court of Appeal.

Consumer mediator

If you are a consumer client, in the event of a dispute with the firm you may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator of the French legal profession, after first attempting to resolve it directly with the firm by written complaint.
